anytime is good, consult with your vet.

          before-

you don’t need to do anything special before the surgery, the vet usually has the rabbit couple hours before the surgery, and starts giving the rabbit some medicine for prep.

          after-

my vet did a 2-night stay for my rabbit, they monitor her temperature, incision, and stuff, so i only have to give her pain med every day for 5-7 days, and make sure she doesn’t run around like crazy. The first day she came back, she already did a binky in her cage like nothing happened. As long as the rabbit is eating and pooping then it is good.

price vary – from low cost less than $100 to $400

not sure if my rabbit had any behaviour change… she still likes to poop on sofa and occasionally pee on the sofa , maybe less nippy and angry. she is fixed just when she turned 5 month, can’t really tell
