  OK so my mom made Hercules the rabbits cage bigger and I was annoyed at her today and for some reason this is aggravating me tons for no reason. It’s a better cage but it’s not the same as his old one. I don’t know. The other one seemed better even though it was smaller. The cage is about 10x 3 feet and the old one was about 6x 3 feet

  I guess you may have thought your mum was interfering or sth? I’m sure you’ll come to terms with it when you think about how it must add to Hercules’ quality of life. Will we get to see pix of him in his new set-up? (Hoping!)

  I’m with bam – sometimes it’s aggravating when people jump in and do something like that without asking…even though you like the outcome, you get aggravated at it, lol.

  I’m sure she meant well and wanted to help and show some support for your interests, but I’m very particular about things and ocd so I also completely understand where you are coming from as well. If she wants to, maybe ask her to help with certain projects and improvements together so you can have say in the end result and you guys can do something nice together at the same time (: also post photos lol!

  That’s nice and long for your rabbit and looks like a good base to go about decorating some if you wanted (: try going to Joann’s or another fabric store and checking their remnant bins. I always find tons of cute fabric(especially fleece) to use and it’s usually quite a bit too. It seems a lot of the time it’s just returned because it was cut crooked or a few inches too short of a yard.

  A really good long size for a rabbit! I think Tori’s suggestion that you and your mum do sth together, f ex a cardboard hidey-house, is great. Hercules is your bunny, but your mum seem to like him too and that’s a good thing.

  He used to have tons of toys in there but he ate them all so we are buying more. Also he has a cardboard box junction in his cage except my iPad couldn’t capture it all.

  A bunny can never have too many friends. Several of my friends and relatives love Cincinnati. One even grows him herbs! He also associates the site of her with treats. LOL
  
  I like bam’s idea of doing something for him together. It’s clear that your mom is smitten with your bunny (who can blame her??). In the long run this can only work to yours and Hercules’ advantage. Gently introduce her to rabbit dos and don’ts so that you don’t overwhelm her, but she is aware of things like not feeding certain veggies, etc. This will keep her involvement safe.
