Hi there! I posted awhile back about needing advice on keeping my bun in a play-pen on the floor. Its been forever since I posted again, long story short, I’m not happy with the new play-pen set up, because its now in a bedroom with like no natural sun light for my bun and she is by herself more now. So I decided to build a nice NIC cage for the first time. Second attempt as I tried one years ago with a different bunny. Anyway, moving on..I have it mostly built now. Its 3 floors, 4 grids long, 2 wide. To fit better in my living room and to look nice as well (better then her play-pen which was to wide and bulky) So I have a few questions, -please keep in mind I’m learning disabled- and it is a bit hard for to understand some things when it comes to measuring the plastic used for the flooring. I was wondering if I wanted to fold the the sides of the corrugated plastic when I scored it, would I need to over measure a little, or under measure. Some other things I was wondering, I’ve searched google a lot, and watched videos, can anyone suggest other flooring ideas, or point me to sites that show other ideas and how to make them? Searching google images is taking awhile..lol And for the supports people use, th wooden pole type style, I tried looking at my local hardware store for styles like what I see on google, but am having issues locating any thing like them. (For a bit more info, the poles/beams that are thin enough but strong enough to hold the grids up that fit through the square grids.) And any other tips you can give me would be great! Everything is pretty much all set, just need to finish up the last bit and its done!

        Thanks again everyone!

If you want the plastic to fit inside the cage you should make it just a little smaller that the cages interior dimensions. A 1/4 inch off one long and one short side should be enough.
