        Hi!

I’m planning to get a rabbit in the next year or so, so I’ve been doing a lot of research on food. My family eats a lot of greens, especially Olivia’s Salad. Has anyone given this to their rabbit?

I’ve never heard of that brand, but I looked it up. It’s nice to see that their products are organic. I think the spring mix and kale would be fine for your rabbit. Rabbits can have spinach too, but it’s on the list of veggies that should be limited, and not fed every day.

I have found that bagged greens don’t usually last as long as the date printed on them, and I always make sure that I get a bag with a date several days or a week away. It’s still a good idea to go through the greens before giving them to your rabbit, because there are usually some bad or slimy pieces in the bags even when they are first opened.

When I buy packaged greens, Olivia’s are my favorite. Tends to be crispier and last longer than most packaged salad mixes, if you can get a good date.
