Gaah its that time of the month, and both my bunnies are fluffing all over the place. Luna is such a dream – she goes into flop mode, lies still and purrs until I’m done. With Merlin – BUNNY RODEO!! he’s such a nightmare, won’t stay still, will run away and hide, has to be held… gruh. Its worse this time because its springtime and even though both my buns have been de-sexed, Merlins been very amorous and tried to mount Luna a lot lately, so his fur is all stuck together with urine and scent glands around his bottom. The vet says not to be worried about this, as long as there’s no poops in his fur. Still makes grooming nightmarish!

Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips?

What grooming technique are you using? Brush? Damp Hands? Plucking? Lilith seems to be much more inclined to sit still for brushing than wet hands or plucking (odd right?)

A little of all, I use the brush first to loosen things up. then pluck any fluffs.
