Yep… I’d picked up the plate of cat food, like normal, but left a small chunk on the ground out of laziness, figuring she wouldn’t eat something like that in the first place. But I’m 99% sure she did – I saw her nibbling something and the chunk of cat food was gone. It was a small bit, about the size of the tip of my thumb, of canned Fancy Feast. Has anyone’s bun ever done this? I can’t imagine it’d taste good to them!

no cat food. But Pepper loves Sadie’s dog food! It’s gotten to the point where we have to hold Sadie’s dog dish in our lap or put her dish outside. otherwise Pepper will run inbetween Sadie’s legs and grab some dog food to eat.

That’s hilarious! You’d think they’d be naturally repelled by meaty foods!

i don’t think a little bit will hurt.. i read that snowshoe hares will eat dead rodents occasionally for protein

I know a lot of BB members’ rabbits like eating cat or dog food (although it’s not good for them). I think a little should be fine.

Not good for them, but a little nibble won’t kill them. Bunnies sometimes want to eat the strangest things.

My Henry eats dog food (which horrifies me) but he’s all ok…. (for now?). DAM bunny!

                    LOL!

Edit to ADD – Henry and my 3 dog’s are all free roam 24/7. See why it makes it hard??? Ha ha ha ha…..

Winnie desperately wants to get at my cats’ Fancy Feast. I have to pick up the bowls and vacuum around them before I let her out for play time, but she still sniffs around the place they usually are looking for scraps.

heck even my dog doesn’t think dog food is appetizing LOL! I’ve also caught Sadie trying to eat Pepper’s rabbit food.
