  I told my boyfriend that someday, somehow, we are going on vacation there. I’ll just have to resist the urge to bring them all home with me, LOL.

  I’m so moving there too, Andi! Although, as LEL points out, the risk of dying from sudden cuteness overload must be considerable.
  
  As for vet-care, Diamond, I think the rabbits on the island are feral. We have a large colony of feral house-rabbits in our capital city (Stockholm), and those rabbits are not given vet care, they’re treated as wild animals.
  
  There seems to be several stories about how these Japanese rabbits got there in the first place.I wish I could go there.

  Sorry guys. People are not allowed to live on the island. Only visit. There is a hotel there, though.
  
  It’s pretty sad, though, about the vet care, etc. The buns are pretty much on their own. They have no predators on the island, however. Humans that visit are not allowed to bring cats or dogs.

  I definitely think we should buy the hotel. Yohio sits here in bed with me now and I can see that he agrees. (Although since I’ve some apple- slices on my bedside table, I guess he’d agree to just about anything right now.)

  ohhhhhhhh yes buy the hotel excellent idea lets do. I would love to wake up to all those bunnies Cotton no I didnt pet another bunny. No cotton thats not why i took a shower with lots of soap. Noooo dont bite me As i run for my life
