I will find out tomorrow what happened the clerk would not say i did not think i did well but she said you may be surprised. An idiot vet gave my precious midnite amoxicillin i read the affects rushed him 10:30 at night to a vet 1 hr away to combat the poison he gave him luckily he is fine. Stayed up for 3 nights not knowing if he would live or die. I sued the vet he insisted what he did was correct he was nasty to the other vet reported her to the dept of health. Went to Court today all he judge wantd to see was the box that said for dogs and cats only. Saying prayers i win this maybe this jerk will stop treating rabbits. He told the vet he has been treating rabbits for 46 yrs she said well then you should know not to give it to him. He said not ethical to tell me he could die. Its awful hearing your rabbit could die.

Oh Lord   Thats horrible.  I am so glad your rabbit made it thru this.  May you win your suit.  I am with you on this.  That is a nasty vet.  Glad you got your bunny to a real rabbit vet in time after realizing he shouldn’t have this type antibiotic. You must have been beside yourself with worry and terrified. 

Glad you and bunny are both ok.

Glad you have a competent vet who stood up there with you.  That vet did the right thing.  Bozo the vet can report all he wants the competent vet can oh whats the word……. repeal that.

Thanks everyone but i did lose i am so BUMMED out just glad i still have my bun bun if he had died from me being stupid going to this clown i would never have been right. Midnite had 3 angles Linda at Hop a Long who told me to go to South Wilton, Dr. Lamb at South Wilton and my wonderful Aunt who took me 1 hr away 11pm at night to South Wilton. You know how special this rabbit is to me and my family!!! THank GOD he is still with us.

Yes that is great that your aunt drove you to the good vet 1 hour away.  I know you are thankful for that.  And that Midnight means so much to y’all. 

Cotton means the world to me.  I would probably end up in the hospital if something happened to him.   I understand where you are coming from on how much your midnight means to y’all. 

Glad Midnight made it thru and is ok thats what counts the most.

If he had died for the rest of my life i would not forgive myself. I was stupid i know you just do not bring a rabbit to anyone i know that. I figured it was something easy maybe his teeth i really did not want this vet giving him any meds i know right away he did not know what he was doing. I was very very lucky. Mostly that my Aunt 10:30 at night offered to take me to Wilton and the vet on duty was supposed to leave at 11pm and waited for me. She was wonderful she tried to educate this ignorant pos on the dangers of giving a rabbit amoxicillin he would not listen. And his site says specializes in pocket pets.From reading on the net this happens way too often and nothing is done. That is sad you bring your pet to be treated and it dies. I am thankful God was with me that night. I prayed and prayed and prayed my bunny would be ok and HE answered. I am thankful. What a horrible death that would have been.

Boo Mcchew that is so cute i call Midnite bunny chew chew. He kinda got banished from the den after he made a hole in the couch and took the stuffing out!!! But mom still loves him! How could you not love that face.

The judgment said i did not have envidence for a malpractice judg. The box said for dogs and cats ONLY that is black and white. Judge must have hated rabbits. I am going to report him to the dept of health and leaving reviews on various sites.
