I will be flying back to florida to my husband.  I am taking Cotton Boo.

Does anyone know anything about flying with bunny in the cabin?

It is too soon for me to be calling cheap flights I don’t have $ to hold a flight.  Hubby will be trying to get his truck to run I doubt he will be able to.  If so I won’t lost my  3 wheel bike. or out HDTV I told Mom I promised him I would not take.

We will lose a lot of stuff if I have to fly out.  Mom won’t let me not pay her for 2 months to save for an 800 dollar uhaul or budget truck.  They won’t let us rent a van for out of state travel.

I am going to ask Mom to bring me to get paperwork and mri to Dr. so he can write a current letter for airline for the screws nut and bolts (frankenstine) in my back so It won’t be such a hassle to get onboard.

I am going to have to purchase another cage food litterbox when I get there.  Mom won’t help one penny for me to get back there.  She will mail some of my stuff as I send her $.  Most of it can be mailed.

The non religious ceramics and paints will come last.  I just have to follow my heart.  I have hated Louisiana all my life and it hasn’t changed.

I still hate this place.  I almost called off Mom and Buddy coming to get me the week before but they put so much work into this.  Damn why didn’t I call this off. Stupid I didn’t want to leave hubby.

I belong with my husband not here.  It was nice to visit Uncle Lawrence. See Mom and sis in law is only family I have here.  Time to go back to hubby.

        Sorry getting off subject.

About bunny flying in cabin any advice any one done this what  do I need to do do I need a health certificate anything?  Special carrier? I know Cotton will chew right through those netted ones    in no time lol.

You’d have to book EARLY for him to ride in the cabin, since they have a total limit not just per customer limit on animals. Most airlines need a health certificate from a vet for most animals, but call the airline and ask what you’ll need. Carrier has to be hard metal/plastic and small enough to fit UNDER the seat – the airline usually has a list of ones they recommend. And it can be pricey.

Might be worth checking out something like National car rental for something that could hold most your stuff if you were looking into renting a van. They don’t have vans, but SUVs can hold a good bit and they don’t mind you taking them out of state for a one-way rental.

i’ve tried enterprise  and just tried national  there is no pick up and drop off where I want to pick up or go to.

Enterprise does not have suv’s to take out of state.  You have to fly there rent suv    return it there n fly home.

I am in tears.  I have close to 700 saved and need to find out what carrier they allow in cabin.  I saw a you tube video of bunny flying and he had one of those cloth carriers. So did a little chihuahua.  I will call airlines directly and find out.  Then call cheap flights.  I doubt hubby will get that truck running.

I want to leave in january.  It may delay til febuary.  I hope not.  I just want to go home with $ to buy Cotton food and a cage and a litterbox and litter.  Oh why did I come here.

Yes, Enterprise doesn’t do one way drop offs. Budget and National I believe are the two main ones for one way rentals. I would call around to each company in your area and see if any of them have the one-way option somewhere nearby. Typically you need to drop off or pick up at an airport, at least one or the other, for one way rentals.

There are also companies like RoyalPaws you could check out – they have private vans you can hire to drive you and your pet to a location within the 48 states. I am unsure if they do rabbits though, or how much it costs.

There is a classifieds site for movers as well, but I can’t seem to find it… I had it when I was looking into moving a few years ago, but have lost the URL. I will see if I can find that. They had private owned moving trucks for hire, not the commercial ones, so they were a lot cheaper than the big places like penske etc.

If you have anxiety, you can get a note from an M.D. or your therapist which mandates your pet on board with you as an emotional support animal. This means that your pet flies for free, and you do not have to keep him under the seat in front of you. I do this often with my two lap dogs.

im pretty sure enterprise lets you rent in one state and drop off in another.

you will save SO much money by driving, and LA to FL is a 1-day drive

enterprise often doesn’t, mike. They like to charge an arm and a leg for out of state travel too, where they allow it. Many of the others are reasonable about it though.

I tried priceline.   found good deal.  Thing is i need room for our stuff.  Hubby is trying to borrow friends truck   Hope that friend says ok.

A sub mini van may take most of our stuff.  May have to leave 3 wheel bike behind tho.  Guess thats ok I can save to get another.

Cotton thumped last nite I must have been snoring lol.   It rained and is cold he may not be running outdoors today.  Dont need a sick boo.  I have to clean his cage and will check.

Will call hubby about this deal and see what he says.  At least we have 2 other options now.  I been praying we get to have Cotton back in that apartment too.  Why was I so stupid.  well cant change that so must move forward with plans to get home with Boo.

He is eating so I will check the weather and see the temp. so I can dress appropriately to clean his cage.

                              Yeah, why DID you leave?

Okay, I’m not trying to be rude here, I’m really not. I just know that you left Islam, and maybe I’m so interested in this because Islam is really close to my own heart, but I also feel for you a lot. You seem like you make a lot of decisions quickly–abandoning a religion and piercing everything (which I assume was in defiance of that religion?) and leaving your husband, moving back to a place that you knew you hate… And your mom doesn’t sound very supportive, and you seem like you’re really emotional.

So, if you don’t really want to air it out for the whole world you can just message me or something, but I’d really like to know the whole story and help you work through your problems if I could… Personally, I think there’s a lot more going on here than just what to do with your rabbits. If you think that letting it all out in chronological order might help you, don’t hesitate to chat me up, okay?

About your stuff–just leave all of it, if you have to. I know that’s a frustrating thing to have to do, but you’ll have infinite time to get new TVs and stuff. If you can get this truck or a little van to work out, that’d be good, too, but try to remember that stuff is always replaceable. The time you waste living in a place you hate is not.
