I’m in NB. They are calling it the “Frankenstorm”. We are expecting pretty strong wind and heavy rain. Hope it’s not too bad. Usually, hurricanes are pretty mild by the time they get to us. ***knocking on wood***

Wishing everyone in it’s path a safe week!

I’m in Pittsburgh, PA and they are calling it the same thing! Ha. Stocking up on veggies, water, and hay!

We’re outside of Cleveland and we’ve had pretty steady rain for the past 2-3 days, along with some wind. Not only is it wet, but it’s a COLD rain. We’re all just chilled to the bone! Hopefully everyone gets through this safely!

I’m also in New Jersey. Good luck. My university has also canceled classes on Monday and Tuesday, and my work will be closed on Monday (at least). Stay dry and hug your bunnies

Sandy already came through Florida. She brought a lot of wind, a touch of rain, and a cold front! It’s gorgeous here now… sunny, low 70’s

The news this morning said my area will be spared the worst of it and we will only get lots of rain from Mon to Wen. I can live with rain.

It’s been raining insanely here to, Beka! It’s not supposed to stop until Thursday! My brother lives in Long Island though — so everyone send good vibes for him! He lives in Southampton, right on the ocean! UGH. I don’t even wanna imagine that right now. He’s currently sitting inside with no power, drinking warm beers with his fiance and their Maltese, Tyler! The pictures he’s been sending me are crazy!

Haha, tanlover14, he lives on the ocean – he’s not allowed to complain about losing power!!

I’m all the way in Montreal and the wind is wild right now! They are calling for a rain storm from tonight, and aren’t expecting it to calm down till Wednesday are thursday.

Everyone getting the brunt of the storm, stay safe (and hope you don’t lose power, too)!! And keep the bunnies away from rooms where you can hear the wind a lot, I’m not even that close to the storm and Ruby is already giving me warning thumps.

Wow! Seeing pics of New York is insane!!!! Did anyone see the pic of the Statue of Liberty with the waves crashing up against it? **Will try to find pic to post**

                            Bunker down your buns everyone!!!

It was pretty windy here last night. Kept me up most of the night. Today is super mild. 18C. We’re expecting big rain tomorrow. I feel bad for all the little trick or treaters. Although, when I was a kid, no weather stopped me from getting candy!!!

I’m in one of the suburbs in Philadelphia, and the worst for us was last night. Did some prep just in case but other than high winds and rain everything has ended up fine here. Not so much nearby, or even a few streets away by the rivers, but fine here. Pippa didn’t worry at all, unless it was overnight when I couldn’t hear her. Worst part for her was probably not being able to get veggies haha, but she had plenty of hay. I let her out for playtime when I woke up this morning and she was binkying away like a happy bun Gonna head out to the store to get her stocked back up today.
I hope everyone else in Sandy’s path has turned out okay!!!

pretty bad damage in nj, but luckily my neighborhood made it through okay. lost power for about twelve hours, but it’s back. there were houses floating down highways and rail cars blew onto the turnpike. crazy flooding about twenty minutes from my house.

on the bun front, callie didn’t seem the least bit concerned. she went about business as usual, zooming and binkying!

Glad everyone is doing okay! We didn’t much more than lots of rain and some wind. NYC is horrible. I have a ton of friends there and my brother being in Long Island — they say it’s a complete disaster.

Sleepy, so glad you and Callie are safe!

Thump and oreo didn’t like the storm at all yesterday. we got really lucky in gettysburg but all day yesterday they were hunkered down and super lethargic. They seem better now but Thump isn’t his usual peppy self.

i just got a website order tonite from Kenilworth, NJ about 20 miles west of Manhattan, so they have electricity there, but that was our first order shipping to the northeast in 3 days.

We have been watching the news and some of these places are in awful shape! I hope every on here and their families stay safe (tanlover14)!

We didn’t get anything here but very strong, cold winds.

Thanks, Mocha! All the family is safe and sound. Not to much damage to their houses personally but some of the ones around them are completely destroyed. I have no idea how NYC is even going to begin to recover. So heart-breaking. I know in NYC though they were telling everyone to bring their pets with them to the evacuation sites and not to leave pets behind! SOO thankful and good to hear that being said. I think I’d weather it out with my animals before I could just leave them behind.

Turns out that one was a hoax. There have been a lot of false images going around Twitter, but the real pictures are still pretty nuts. I think the one you’re referring to is actually from a movie

Everything’s fine up here in the Hudson Valley – some power loss, but otherwise we’re ok. Luckily there aren’t many houses on the banks of the river, so I don’t think there is much flooding. We hardly got any rain, but the wind was crazy and lots of tree branches down.

I hope everyone stayed safe! My heart goes out to everyone in the coastal regions of NY, NJ, and CT.

My brothers just sent me some new pictures from the damage on Long Island — absolutely horrible. Thankfully their two houses down there were unharmed. Just no electricity but everyone is safe and their houses and vehicles came out undamaged!
