My 5month old neutured bunny has be going potty on my bed!..When he discovered he could get on my bed I thought it was cute..but now it’s getting out of control with him constantly wanting to poop on it the moment he gets a chance..this has been going on for about a week or two now and I’ve reached my limit on sharing my bed when its his run time..everytime he would go potty I was quickly scoop him up and say NO firmly and put him back in his cage..but didn’t seem to slow him down..so this morning I blocked him off my bed and he went nutty..running around my bedroom like he was lost and annoyed..should I keep him blocked off in the hopes one day he would learn not to do it again?..or could he just be marking his “territory”(which I’m reclaiming)..thanks for reading

The first time my bun figured out how to get on my bed I was like AWW! SO CUTE! Then he peed -_-
He was the same way when I didn’t let him up there after. But I kept him off for a while and recently he’s been allowed up and he’s had no problems.
Just keep him off until you feel he’s calmed down. Or try to get him to ‘go’ before he’s allowed up.

I have exactly the same problem, sometimes I find placing their litter box on the bed helps.

Your bun is probably just marking the bed. He’s saying this belongs to me since it’s saturated in your scent. I’m sure once his smell starts integrating into the bed blankets he’ll stop.

Belle used to pee and poop ALL THE TIME on my bed! I just sort of lived with it. If she peed i’d put her away and if she pood I’d scoop them up straight away. She’s just coming up for five months and despite the odd poop she’s stopped. I think it just takes perseverance .

I hope it’s just a phase..Im crossing my fingers..because I really do like having him next to me in bed while I’m writing or watching tv..I enjoy petting him..but once he poops or pees..the cute bunny has to go bye bye to his cage lol
