soo i take Mr.Yeti outside on his harness daily and he loves hopping around and mowing my lawn for me.. but im wondering about this heat. its been a warm summer and on the daily its about

        33 degrees Celsius

which transfers to… ohh 91-92 Fahrenheit..

is that too hot for him? i dont keep him out there long because i think its too hot.. and i try to keep him in the shade. but everytime i try to bring him back in he gets mad at me..

will he let me know when he’s too hot? should i try and keep him inside during this hot hot time?

on another note i do plan on taking him out in winter what is too cold?

we can go down to about -20 Celsius … -4 Fahrenheit…

        any input would be helpful.

I never bring my bunnies out when it is that hot. Normally I bring them out when it is in the LOW 80’s and shady or in the 70’s. Rabbits can’t tolerate the heat. They can easily get heat stroke.

ahh thank you. he’s is definitely going to be a strictly indoor bunneh until fall sets in. difficulty is….

lol we dont get much of a fall or spring.. temperature shifts here are DRASTIC. ohwell.. he’ll just have to suck it up.

thanks a bunch for the info.

Yeah usually it’s early morning before it gets too hot or in the evening when it cools off.

I’m sure you can find a time to take him out. =) I know my buns love being outside.

i would consider that but a few cases of west nile have broken out in my city and we’re supposed to avoid outside in the morning and evening when the mosquitoes are out with vengeance.

Yeah that would be a good idea! Lol I wouldn’t want anyone to get bit by a mosquito with west nile!

I would play it safe and keep him in if it’s above 30 for sure. Keep in mind that they can’t sweat in the heat to cool off like we can.
