Has anyone tried the digestive support? If so, would love to hear feedback.

I saw those at Petsmart and wondered what people thought of them too. They have a whole line, but I haven’t tried any of them.

I saw that too but was turned off because the stats on the back weren’t as good as the basic T’s. I would be curious to know what someone who’s heard/experienced with this new one.

              Frankie~
What are basic T’s? I picked up the digestive supplement. One of my buns is a picky hay eater and I always worry about gut stasis in her (a lot of “pearl poop” even with brushing her a lot). She eats her greens really well, but I wish I could up her hay consumption.

Basic T’s is Oxbows original adult formula. They still sell it. They sell it on here if you wanna look at the stats. I hope the supplement helps your bun I really do! I’m no expert, I’ve just always made my decisions off the fiber % and fat, protein %

Oh you are referring to pellets. I was referring to the supplements that Oxbow is now making. Lilbit already gets Oxbow Basic T. I just added the digestive supplement to her diet.

I haven’t seen them, but just Googled it. Are they like hay cubes with vitamins? It sounds good, reading the description online. My rabbit always struggles with stasis. I’d be willing to try it.

I tried the Joint Supplements. All my buns like them. Stormy’s Xray showed arthritis so I like him getting them.

I’ve tried the joint and multvitamin and bought the rest of the line except the digestive (I think that must be newest of the line). I can’t say that I’ve seen any kind of changes but I can say they eat them pretty well – they are made like treats.

It’s very new so I’m not sure you are going to find anyone yet who might be able to offer any kind of feedback other than their rabbits eat it.

To be honest, I have to wonder how we will notice any changes in our rabbits once they do take them…but probably other people are just much more observant than me. Let us know if you try them.

Same-just started them and they eat them, but glucosamine is definitely proven so a supplement with it, like oxbow joint (and oxbow is a very proven name so I’d have to assume levels are clinical) is going to be good.

Sarita– you said they are made like treats. Should they be limited then? My buns is always getting GI Stasis due to molting issues (he gets greens, hay, brushed, etc. Vet said next thing to try is to shave him when he starts to molt!), so I would love to try this product out.

TH004 – they aren’t treats but they are made to be taken like treats. Each supplement gives you a recommended dosage.

I don’t know how they compare as far as taste goes to the other treats that Oxbow makes, but I suspect that they can be used as “treats” that are good for your rabbits.

2 of my 5 bunnies like the digestive one. I would be curious to see how a bunny, who typically suffers GI stasis, does with this supplement.

I would too hunybuny – seems like a pretty big claim to say that it can help a rabbit who has chronic stasis problems…but I’m a cynic.

I’ll let you all know! I haven’t seen it in stores. We do have a PetSmart too that I can try, before ordering online. I give my rabbit the papaya vitamins that are supposed to help digestive health too– I haven’t noticed any difference (it’s been 2 years). Though, he thinks they are treats, so I don’t mind. I’d rather give him that than some sugary treat.
