I finally got a new bun after waiting for quite a while. I ended up not getting a Flemish Giant, but hopefully one day. He’s a Curly Rex(a mixed breed?) but he looks a bit like a lionhead. I got him last Friday, and he currently resides in an xpen that I made out of nic cubes. :3 He’s very sweet and loves to hop around my room.

Sorry the pictures are so bad quality, they were taken with a phone. I’ll have more pictures of him and his enclosure soon, with hopefully better quality.

I absolutely love having a bunny again, and my mom is already very attached to him, and his pen takes up half my room. xD

        Thanks for reading!

Thanks for all the compliments everyone!

A reference of size, he’s pretty small still, but very fluffy.

There were a few more, but they won’t upload.

Anyway, he’s very sweet, but still shy (I know it’s normal :]) And I also have a litterbox in his cage and so far he’s been going in it rather than going on the floor, which I’m very happy for.

However, I’ve noticed that he seems very skinny, like I can feel his hip bones and spine. Is this normal? I get the feeling that it’s due to being in a cage with multiple other rabbits and having to share food. I hope I can get him to gain a bit of weight.

He also seems to love the big amount of space he gets with having an x-pen as I’m sure he’s never had that much room to his own before.

Oh my goodness! Such a little puffy thing! Congratulations, he’s adorable. How old is he? That’s awesome you’re having such good luck with litter training already – is he neutered, or is he too young? In most rabbits you can feel their spine and hip bones – I think you would need to start worrying if you can SEE them. My bun eats like a horse and I can still feel her spine. Has he had a vet checkup? They’ll be able to tell you for sure what his ideal weight would be. Welcome!

He’s not neutered, but when he goes to the vet(soon, hopefully), I’ll have to see if he’s old enough to be neutered. I’d like for it to happen before he starts getting all the hormones and whatnot. But we’ll see.
