I was just wondering if someone could figure out the breeds of my rabbits. When I got them I was told they were half dwarfs, but that’s all I was told. They are brother and sister, and one of them looked very much like a lionhead when she was little, but she’s lost most off her fur around her head now. Could anyone tell me what other breed they could be??

The picture below is what they looked like when I first got them..

        Thank you BB

Probably some kind of dwarf mix. They are adorable.

Definitely some lionhead, with that mane. I would say lionhead / holland lop mix or maybe full lionhead (they’re not actually a breed yet, so their type varies a lot from bun to bun)

I agree with El, Lionheads aren’t a “legit” breed yet because breed standards are proving hard to set, one of the *mane* problems (hah, couldn’t resist ) is that the mane isn’t staying through adulthood, or only barely stays. The ears and head shape resemble lionhead as well. They are quite lovely colored!!!

Thank you all for the replies. I thought they were part Lionhead, I just wasn’t sure.
It doesn’t really matter what they are because I still love them just the same. It’s just nice to know.
I like the “mane” joke lol.

Naysha, your rabbit looks adorable! If you want to ask members about breed, I encourage you to open up a new thread for your question, since this one is more than a month old.
