Just changed around my rabbits x-pen set up so I figured I’d share.  They have to two attached cages that they mainly go in to eat hay and when they’re scared (aka when i vacuum).  The cages are then surrounded by an x-pen where they spend most of their time – the x-pen pretty much takes up half the room, but oh well.  I would give them the whole room with no x-pen if they didnt love eating the baseboards.  The x-pen is lacking some toys right now, but I plan on adding some cardboard boxes this afternoon.  Anyways, here it is…

That looks great! Very clean and classy! I assume the lamp cord is secured so they cannot reach it while in the pen?

Thank you! And yes the cord is totally secure with no way of getting to it when they are in the xpen … unfortunately that is the only spot i can plug the lamp into because it is the only outlet that works with the light switch…but if you look at the set up pic below the lamp is pluged in where its circled in red the the xpen comes no where near where the cord is for the lamp.  But thank you for asking because i learned a couple years ago that my black rabbit, zoey, loooooooves wires.

cool setup!! Ughh I wish my room was that clean *cry* hehe!! I really like your covered litterbox, I need to pick up one of those sometime. Does it keep the mess down a lot for you? Cute kitty and buns

Thank you and yes the covered litterbox does help keep the hay contained somewhat more, but probably not as much as the picture makes you think. Its only that clean in the picture because i just set it up…today it is back on its way to being a mess haha

What type of flooring did you use beneath the pen?

And to answer your Q, I don’t have an X-pen but under my buns’ condos I use vinyl floor. Cheap and easy to clean.
