  I was talking with the shelter and she said these buns were always destructo buns but they were in a pen with 50 toys to choose from. It looks like this is just how they are. I told her I’d give it through the holiday weekend so they aren’t having to travel to get them. Here is the email she sent me just a few minutes ago. It brought tears to my eyes and made my night.
  
  Don’t feel bad if they are not the ones for you. We will find them. When you and the buns are ready. They will let you know! I have the word out to some of our partner rescues as well to look for a gentle giant on the rows in Chicago and Milwaukee so if someone shows up, we will know about it.

  K&R Small Animal Sanctuary in Oshkosh, WI. I highly recommend them. They are wonderful!

  Thanks for the website! I thought the only bunny shelter around here was Dane County Humane Society.
