Here are Bonnie and Clyde.  They are bother and sister.  Both about almost 2.  They are Flemish Giant/Holland Lop mixes.  I’m told they came from an accidental litter at a breeder.  I guess they got to close!  They aren’t too big.  Clyde is a little bigger than Rhine was and I think Bonnie is about the same size.  They are weightier than Rhine though.  I think they’re about 6&8lbs.  They want me to keep them for a few weeks to see how we like them.  After that we’ll decide if we want to adopt them or foster them.

Here are a few pics I was able to get.

        This is Clyde.

        and this is Bonnie

They are cute! I don’t see any Holland Lop in them and I think that would be an odd combo a Flemmish Giant and Holland Lop. Bonnie is so pretty – she reminds me of my Toffee…I love the agouti colors. Clyde looks like he has some Harlequin in him to me.

I though Harlequin too. Especially with that color pattern.

My Deirdra was said to be Flemmie/Holland as well, but it was just a guess. She looks a lot like your two and she weighs 8lbs., sometimes her eras lop down. Sarita has always said that it is unlikely that this is what she is, too.

*when I say she looks like your two I don’t mean coloring, LOL, I meant head shape etc

if Bonnie and Clyde are anything like her — you will LOVE them (Deirdra, btw, is also a bit on the destructo side… tztztztztz)

Deirdra was two this past summer… oh boy… brace yourself Amy, if they were related… you better get that diggy box ready (Deirdra is an excavator bunny)

Thanks for the heads up! They were actually taken back to the shelter because they were bored and when left alone were chewing through all the cords! They’re still shy right now and want nothing to do with us but I know that should change in a few days. =)
I was told that Clyde is a lot more active than Bonnie and likes to play more. Bonnie is a lounger and snuggler. We’ll see!

AHHH…dumb people! Oh well. Their loss is your gain!

I just found out that the shelter picked them up when they took them in. She said their mom was a huge sandy Flemish Giant and their dad was surrendered with them and he was an agouti Holland Lop. I find it very interesting.
She also said that Clyde was very repressed since the last time she saw them. It sounds like they didn’t get much attention lately. Hopefully we can help them over come that!

                                  With names like theirs I’d expect trouble. : ) Cuteness x 2

Busy bunnies are entertaining bunnies…provided they have the right stuff to play with. Enjoy them Amy.

Here’s a few more pics I got tonight of Bonnie and Clyde.  I haven’t noticed much digging but they LOVE to chew!  Everytime I see them tonight I go “AWWWW!” and grab my camera.  lol

Aww… if I was looking at a pic of Bonnie and Clyde quickly, I would think they were MY babies, Calypso and Echo… Needless to say, I think they’re gorgeous!

The don’t look that big in their pics but next to your daughter… wow!

Flemmie and Holland lop… interesting. I guess this goes to show that “bunny love” knows no bounds. If they can find a way, they’ll do it. LOL!
