so i recently laid 2 cheapo carpet runners with rubber backs in the hallway leading to the edge of the kitchen.  i resisted before because of my general hate for vacuuming but pinky would just not come out of her room.  i would be puttering around in the kitchen with the dog and see her in the open doorway peering at us.

now that the runners are there i have created a monster

i figured she would stay on the runners… but no… when i’m in the living room (round the corner from the kitchen) i can here the pitter patter of little thumpers.  as soon as the dog or i goto check out what she’s doing she spins her wheels and high tails it back to the  runners.  home-free.  lol.

and whenever i open the fridge or run the taps she thinks – of course – that i’m preparing her salad and she comes running to the end of the last runner.  which conveniantly is less than 2 feet away from the fridge door when it’s swung open.  this morning i took my usual vitamins and turned to see pinky and bogart side by side behind me staring at me intently.  “good grief woman… stop dilly-dallying… HURRY UP ALREADY and FEED us!”

Oh this is so cute! A whole world has opened up to her now. I wonder what her aversion was before. The REWs can have some vision impairment can’t they?

That pic is sweet. Like there gazing lovingly. Or telepathically sniggering about the human.

On the swiffer reference; I must say rabbits don’t make the best swiffers. It seems they produce more of the stuff that needs swiffing whilst they’re minimally swiffing any up.

ya you’re kinda right jerseygirl. she’s more of a duster than a swiffer really. she came flyin over to me and periscoped up hoping for some greens with cobwebs hanging off of her whiskers. lol. apparently there’s somewhere under the table that i’ve been missing. she flicked her foots at me after i foolishly attempted to remove the cobwebs. silly goose

Jerseys first venture around the living room when I first got her, had her appearing from behind the sofa with 2 dust bunnies attached to her whiskers. Was so cute! Funny how they don’t always feel stuff on them but they react when anything nears the ends of the whiskers it seems.

                    Love our Pinkie!

I can just picture you turning to find 4 eyes staring. Kind of an Adams Family moment.
