If I were to ever buy a bunny hutch, this is what I would get.  It’s the only cute on that’s appealed to me.  lol   But the materials it’s made out of seem a bit iffy to me.  Not that it matters – I’ll never have “outdoor” bunnies.  If I ever have space to take them out for periods of time, I will build them a big pen area to run around in.  But like I said – I find this  one of the cuter hutches.  LOL

I was looking up the pen extension panels.  lol  Really!

That is cute, minus the wire floors. Not sure about what kind of paint is used… and I’m always weary of white stuff, looks great new, not always so great after a year of use.

It is pretty. My buns live in a hutch in the kitchen, I’m not sure why. I think we just went “rabbits live in hutches” and spent £125 on a hutch instead of thinking about pens/cube condos at a fraction of the cost. Silly us.

I love indoor hutches. Hutches look prettier than most cages and contain hay scatter better. I would love an indoor hutch. One day I want to design and build one.

That’s a cute one. I love the look of a hutch. This week I’m going to be switching from dog crates to hutches (indoors of course.) I finally found a hutch with the  qualities I’ve been looking for: Multi-level, easy cleaning, no wire floors and ground level entry/exit doors so buns can come and go as they please.

Is there a pic you can post of your new hutch runaway bunny? I’m interested to see it.

Sure. Here’s the pics. They’ll have as much space as they have now in the dog crates, just stacked into two levels. Smokey and Bandit will have one with free run of the kitchen and Newton will have the other with the run of the living room.

Nice that it opens on top too! What is the floor made out of? You still might want to get some lino cut to fit the floors to make clean-up a little easier just in case.

Love the white hutch. Very pretty. Baxter would eat it so I couldn’t have anything on it. lol With all of the knowledge out there about how sore hocks are inevitable with wire flooring and the fact that bunnies are highly litter trainable you would think that hutches wouldn’t come with the wire flooring. Hmm.

The floor is PVC. I asked my rabbit vet if this was acceptible flooring for them, and he said it was fine except over time it might have to be replaced because it will absorb waste. But this shouldn’t be a problem because all my buns are very good with their litter box.
