I got my baby Winston for my 18th birthday back in 2008 and he has been the light of my life ever since. He brought so much joy to my life and i’ll always love him.

Unfortunately, yesterday, I noticed he was acting a little sleepy and wouldn’t eat, so i put him in the bed with me. he laid next to me all day and wouldn’t move much. he wouldn’t even eat his favorite treats, craisins. I also noticed his belly was a little bloated.

I decided the best thing to do was to take him to the vet.

They took x-rays and found out that he had a large hair ball stuck in his belly and was unable to pass it. They offered little hope other than to keep him over night and put him on an iv. They said he had a 50/50 shot.

I got the phone call at work this morning that my poor baby had passed away earlier this morning. i’ve never been so devastated in my life. he was only 2 1/2 years old :'(

he truly was my little guy. and ill miss him every day for the rest of my life.

this is the hardest day i’ve ever had to face

I’m sorry to be reading this so late after you posted.

Many hugs to you. Winston is over the Rainbow Bridge now, and as awful as it is, please remember that you made his short life a good one, with love and care he might never have known.

So sorry for your loss We had lost our first bunny in July, and while it is still tough on my daughter….there are many times we remember what Skittles would do, and it makes us laugh and smile. Tears are slowly replaced with smiles and sweet memories…..**hugs**
