when two bunnies get bonded, how do I feed them? do I put all of their food into one bowl, or do they each get their own?

I think most people put all the food in one bowl, or you can just scatter them around on the floor. They should be able to share the same food and litterbox when they are living together, altho I like having two litterboxes side by side.

All of the food goes in one bowl at our house. They’re pretty good at sharing the pellets and both will pull the bowl towards themselves, take a bite, then let the other one pull it away a bit. We do use two veggie bowls, just because the amount of veggies we feed is too big for one bowl. They usually choose to eat out of the same bowl at the same time anyway.

Not only will they eat out of the same veggie bowl, my two will insist on eating the same leaf until it’s gone!

Depending on the individual rabbits, pellets can be an issue, especially when one rabbit is bigger and a slow eater, and the other one small and greedy. Just watch when they get pellets what the situation will be like.

Haha. Mine do that occasionally, but usually Otto will eat only the leafy part and leave the ribs behind for Hannah to clean up.

Pellets have been a really big problem at our house. i feed them in separate parts of the cage but i noticed once i leave mocha will chase lulu away from the food and eat hers first then go back to his. i have been trying to feed them one inside the cage and one out side but its hard.

I have this problem with my buns, lately I’ve been using two of those little cat treat balls.  I give one to each and they roll it around and the pellets will fall out of the little hole.  It helps to slow down the greedy one.
