My dad is officially a rabbit slave

3 times last week, my dad has let Koucha out to play BEFORE I got home from work

And I came home another day last week and wnted to take a shower and my dad said “LET KOUCHA OUT!” 

When I got home from work today, my dad was sitting in the living room watching Big Bang Theory and he had opened up Chacha’s x-pen. I had forgotten to store the pellets into the closet and my dad said “Koucha bit a hole in the pellet bag. I took it away from her because I didn’t want her to get a blockage.”

[EDIT] I just finished petting her. She wanted more and she grunt thumped at me

Cuteness! He and her are probably loving the freedom of not having to have stinky strangers come thru the house. lol
btw, that sunroom with storage on the new apt plans looks to be a great bunny space!

Thanks He said “Thats for Koucha” as soon as we saw the apartment, lol.

My dad said when he let her out, she flopped and he moved past her and she didn’t move! Very rare I said ‘shes getting used to your smell.’

Little Chacha tried jumping onto the couch and she fell down!! She tried jumping on the armchair side and fell down!! OMG!

She is being naughty tonight!!

When you move to Oregon, you may have to talk your dad into getting a bunbun of his own

I feel fortunate and am very thankful my dad loves animals.

Monkey, when I move out of the house, he will be making his own birdcage and getting finches. I love birds.. so colorful

Your Dad is awesome! I love Big Bang Theory (and bunnies)!

When I was a teenager before my Dad died I had two guinea pigs and he was kind of opposed to me getting them but I would often come home and he would say “your “hamsters” were hungry so I fed them.” I’d go in their pen and there would be like a whole head of broccoli, half a thing of lettuce, etc. They loved him (obviously) and whenever they would hear him, even in the middle of the night, they would do their really loud “boui boui” noise. When they died, about a year apart, he made them each a little wooden casket and helped me bury them. That’s a great memory I have of my Dad. It’s so nice when loved ones share in your love for animals.

I love birds too, although we can’t have them because of allergies. I sure do admire them, though!

So sweet, I wish my Dad had been affectionet to my pets growing up. He didn’t care for them, though he did take pretty good care of our cat when I moved out.

My Hubby is an animal lover, and just like Sunday night as we’re finished eating dinner and watching some TV, he leaves me on the couch and goes to snuggle PitStop on the floor and give him treats (gawd that bunny get’s SO many treats!). He doesn’t clean the bunnies, but he will feed and play with them. He won’t medicate them unless I really need him to, so all in all the Animals like him a lot better b/c he doesn’t do anything but all the good stuff with them… unlike mean mommy LOL

Andi- lol, it’s the same at my house. Big bad Mommy clips the nails, grooms, does the ear meds, etc. Daddy just plays with them when their out and feeds them once in a while.

I know huh ? My dad is not a small guy. Hes really tall and muscular. Lol. Its hilarous sometimes. I didn’t have my camera when he tried to feed Chacha a piece of lettuce! LOL!!!!!!!

Chacha really warmed up to John nicely. i think because he likes to lay down with her. She prefers him more than me sometimes! makes mommy jealous..
