Sooo….I was trying to figure out some way to make Lulu happier in her cage. I know my rats LOVED hammocks, so I was wondering if Lulu would too. I get that shes not a rat though, and I thought maybe the non hard surface would make her uncomfortalbe. Does anyone have any experience with hammocks and rabbits? It might be an intereting way to add a second story of types.

Hmm … I guess it would be worth a try, though I know my bun wouldn’t have anything to do with it. Maybe try putting it down on the floor first to see if Lulu was interested in hanging out in it at all, then you could raise it off the ground an inch or two. Some buns really do like having something soft to lay on. You could also try getting a little cat bed from the pet store. They’re only $10 or so and washable. My bun hates his and just lays on the cold floor, but I’ve heard other buns love them 😉

None of my rabbits but Kahlua have ever liked a hammock type place-the movement freaked them out. But she loved it.

I had (donated it a while ago, considering buying replacement…heheh) this thing
