Does anyone else here dedicate a whole room to their rabbits?  I have my own rabbit room for Mr. Bunny. It’s a good-sized downstairs rec-room that had bad mold problems and had to have the whole rug taken out. My mom is very much a non-pet person, so I couldn’t have the rabbit in any room where she liked to go. Now it’s home to one small white rabbit. Actually, the room is bigger than my own bedroom…by quite a bit…lol

Just wanted to see who else is as crazy as me.

My boys have the entire downstairs of my 1br apartment. Their main area that their maze haven, tunnel, and toys are in is the kitchen, during the day can also run around the living room. At night I put up a barrier and they stay in the kitchen area (I found they are more destructive at night).

Id say Im a bit bun crazed.  I have yet to purchase a kitchen table because I dont want to take away any of their space… hahah!

My bunny area is a room off the kitchen adjoining the laundry. It’s about 2x4m and laundry is half that length again but they can go there too. All their stuff is there and it’s where they go overnight but generally they have the whole house except my sisters bedroom, toilet and bathroom.

We turned our guest room into the bunny room when we found Sassy.  We even took the bed out, so no more overnight guests for us!  We only have had overnight guests once or twice a year, otherwise we mostly used the guest room to dump clean laundry on the bed until we had time to fold it, so it’s not a big loss to give that room to the bunny.

We took out the carpet & put in laminate flooring, then found out bunnies aren’t fond of slippery floors, so we put a big throw rug on top of the laminate.

It’s crazy that Sassy has all that space to run around in, but I still feel guilty when I have to put her back in her room at night, or when I’m gone during the day.  (Except for the bunny room, Kitty-Cat has free run of the house & I’m not comfortable leaving them together unsupervised.)

Booker has her own bedroom, but she is nice enough to share the closet with me!

Bunners resides in the laundry room during the day, we used to have it blocked off, but now he’s twice the size of any of the areas to get into so it works out perfectly, and he has plenty of space to…. sleep! lol that’s all he does during the day anyway. Other than that, he has full reign of the house, which is just enough room for him to gather full speed before launching himself at me while I’m laying on the couch relaxing. hehe

For now Otto has half of the dining room – his pen takes up half and our table takes up the other half. When we buy a house of our own, I hope to have an extra room that can become bunny territory so we can get at least one more. We have a second bedroom in our townhouse now, but with a bed and a desk in it there’s no room for a bunny.

Pacey had his own room until the ceiling fell through on him. I am thinking once him and Marshmallow have a solid bond I am going to give them their own room again now that it is fixed lol

My 3 buns share their own room. The rabbit room it’s referred to. All 3 cages are in there, as well as all their supplies and lots of bunny decor and plushies. Anything rabbit goes! Unfortunetly, it’s the smallest upstairs room. I have more room downstairs but I’m not down there nearly as much, so I wouldn’t want them to be begging for treats and not be able to hear them

Oreo has the most room as he is free range in the living room and kitchen. He mostly plays in the kitchen where there is more room because my living room is small and my furniture is big. It’s funny tho because in my kitchen I have no dining room table set up but I do have cardboard boxes everywhere, a cottontail cottage, a ton of fun bun run and a litter box! In the living room he has a blanket and some toys, another litter box, a diggy box and his food and water.
I have a huge bedroom that has an attached bathroom which is attached to another bedroom. In my room Fuzzy runs around free range and Happy has the back bedroom (which also opens into my room but we have a baby gate dividing the rooms). Happy has a great room with lots of stuff all over just for him. Happy is the most playful of my 3 so it works out great. He has toys, diggy boxes, carboard boxes, little houses, a tunnel, 2 cubes (he loves to put his head under these and run around in circles and then flip them over, so cute!), a cottontail cottage and a closet to run around in! Fuzzy is a little bit crowded in my room but I think he likes it that way. He’s my little nervous bun so he likes having all the furniture to lay under where he feels safe. He also has toys, a bunch of diggy boxes, a cottontail cottage, a ton of fun bun run, and a large pen that he can get in and out of whenever he wants through his cottage. Happy and Fuzzy also take turns having access to the bathroom.
So needless to say my house is over run with bunnies and bunny stuff and I love it! Luckily I have an understanding hubby that loves the buns almost ( but not quite ) as much as I do!

Haha, that’s what I was thinking!
                                      Here Ill contribute.
I have most of my bedroom dedicated to my bunnies, I would give them a whole room but my mom won’t give me another room and I do need somewhere to sleep/change. Since my sister is in college now I suggested giving the bunnies my sisters room , No go. My mom said, well where will Jennifer sleep when she comes to visit?! I said on the couch (it folds out into a bed) but the answer still was no. I also suggested knocking down the wall between our bedrooms but of coarse that is not going to happen lol. I also seriously was thinking of a way that I could make a path to Jennifer’s room so the bunnies could live in both, and when Jennifer came home I would just remove the path, vacuum the room and voila! No remains of bunnies.
So anyone else have suggestions to help me with my crusade to give the buns more space?
                                      So here are some pics.

Okay, I feel so neglectful. All your bunnies have these amazing playhouses! Anyone know a good large bun playhouse option? Most of the boxes I have taken home don’t last long because the hole I cut into them makes the box weak. and then Bunners eats them. lol. After seeing these amazing setups, I now know why he uses me as his jungle gym!

Giuly, I have the same little pet store cage left open and used as a giant litter box! I folded a towel on top of mine so Yuki can sleep on top (she likes sleeping up high, like me).

Scooter-lol!! he uses you as his jungle gym  The one I have is the Maze Haven! They sell it here at the Binky Bunny Store, there’s a smaller version of that one, and then if you buy two or more you can make amazinggg playhouses. I don’t remember which member here has two or three of them and posted pictures. It looks so cool.

SPace_Cavy-that’s so cute that she sleeps on top! I’m gonna try that and see if Sophie gets up there. Now that she has free run of the house she never uses that cage anymore, only to feed the babies.

Well my room is the bunny room. And now that Eclipse is free range it is definitely the bunny room! But no, as I still live with my parents I only get one room. If I ever do get a place of my own, I still don’t think I would give them just their own room. Instead, they will probably get a place in the living room so they are with us, and the other rooms would probably be off limits.
