Red Barn Rabbit Rescue (Oregon) is run by two amazing woman, who decided instead of breeding rabbits they wanted to run a shelter after seeing to many abused and neglected rabbits in their area (Lane County). They have indoor and outdoor facilities, hosting a wide variety of temperaments, sizes and colors. These rabbits are often picked up off the street or surrendered by unknowing owners. The bottom line, they need HELP two people can only do so much, and without volunteers/foster families [MOD EDIT] they can’t keep rescuing all the buns that desperately need their help. Visit Red Barn Rabbit Rescue to find out more information on how you can help then save more buns.

I know all about Red Barn It’s a great place, and I have been lucky enough to transport a few bunnies for them in the past. Would be great if they got more help!

This is a great group that helps so many bunnies find loving homes. Thank you for bringing them to our attention!

I see you are a new member here, so I do want to make a note that directly asking for donations is against forum rules.

This excerpt is taken from the Rescue Guidelines Thread here: https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/105200/afnp/288875/Default.aspx

                NOTE TO RESCUES/SHELTERS:

DO NOT ASK DIRECTLY FOR DONATIONS

To prevent this section from becoming solicitation heavy, which in the long run, shys people away from this section, please do not ask for money/donations/fees directly in your posts. You MAY discuss adoptables, events, and emergency situations where help would be urgently needed. The word “help” and “support” can be used, but you cannot directly ask for donations or money anywhere in the forum or chat. (This rule applies to all forum groups, not just rescue).
It’s better to tell the story of the adoptable or urgent situation so people are able to emotionally connect and then offer a link that provides more information—You CAN provide a link to another site for more information which may have a donation link and/or more information on your own site’s page, but you cannot directly link from here to paypal or other pay system.

                Thank you for understanding.

I will edit your post accordingly.

Yeah, its an event that has kids chase rabbits around to catch them as prizes :/ It’s horrendous. Many rabbits are injured and even killed during this event RBRR is trying to get them to shut down the event.. hope it works!
