A couple of weeks ago I got Wilburs new cage so my boyfriend made him a second floor as soon as he could which is brilliant!

He just used some mdf wood and created a sort of table we then attached the corners of it to the cage with string.

We covered it with an old scarf so it could drape down and he could have a hidey space, but he started to eat it so I took it away but he seems to be get ting on fine without it . And we were very happy to see he started using the second floor the same day, though he doesn’t use his ramp so we are taking that away and making the second floor bigger.

That’s a good use if the space. It’s funny how they avoid ramps. Just prefer to jump right up there.

I gave my foster bun a small table in his pen about a month ago and he still loves it. Loved hopping up and down and spends time sleeping on top of it.

Looks like Wilburs taken a liking to this too. : )
