I’ve done this for Fujoe… All you do is take popsicle sticks (you can buy a huge packet of them at craft stores, like micheals) maybe do one or two at a time, take a shallow bowl and pour enough apple jucie in it to cover the sticks. I let mine soak for a few hours before giving it to Fujoe (I have yet to do this with Patina).

At the end of the few hours, -if I ended up doing like half a dozen or so- I would take a ziplock bag and put the sticks in them and put them back in the fridge. they last longer and end up soaking in more juice.

I don’t know what else you can use besides apple juice- but that worked really well in my house.

just make sure not to overload your bunny with them! Maybe one or two a week…??

I bought a can of concentrated frozen 100% apple juice and simmered the sticks on the stove in sets of 25 for 5min each. I had to add a little water to the last batch because they were gettin kinda sticky. They held the taste-I know cause i licked one to make sure. lol

So my buns have been playing with them but not sure if they think they are all that great-they are hard to please.

all natural juice is a good choice, you want to pick one that doesn’t have added sugar or corn syrup.

                      Cookie-

Did you get a chance to try and make the flavored popsicle sticks for your buns? My girls didnt like them but I took them to the shelter and they were a huge success! The buns were taking them out of my hands before I could lay them down!

Oh and cookie, i have heard that if you ever have a problem with your bun drinking enough water you can "flavor" the water by putting just a little bit of apple juice in it to make it more interesting.

I checked yesterday and my girls actually started chewing on the ones that have been in their cages for awhile. Your bun may change his mind and like them in the future.

Those of you who your bun didnt notice the flavored sticks- did you just leave the popsicle sticks in the juice overnight or did you simmer them on the stove? They seem to hold their flavor better if cooked on the stove for 5min.

Also, dont forget there are tons of other flavors out there. Maybe your buns dont care for apple? I found a pineapple orange 100% juice i am gonna try as well as a white grape and rasberry mixture.
