I'm in need of advice with litter training at night.. I have three buns, they all live together and are all spayed/neutered and have been for a long time. They all have perfect litter habits during the day, there may be a few poops left here and there but that doesn't bother me. As soon as it's night time they seem to loose there litter habits and I wake up to pees all over the floor in the morning. I think it's only one of my buns that is doing it, because he's the only one I've caught doing it.
I thought I would try adding a night light to their room because maybe they couldn't see the litter box so well at night but that didn't help at all. I've also tried cleaning the pee up as soon as I see it and putting the pee soaked paper towel in the litter box, but most of the time I don't see the pee till morning so it has been sitting there all night. I've also gone from cleaning there litter boxed every 2-3 days to buying screened boxes from BB and scooping out the pees and throwing out the poops every day.
I think I'm getting even more frustrated now because I'm 34 weeks pregnant so bending down to do all this is getting a little difficult and I can't get help from my husband as he uses a wheelchair and cannot reach the ground so well. I've been hoping to try and get this sorted before my baby arrives, because I know a lot of my time will be spent with the baby and it will be harder to spend as much time with the bunnies to begin with.
Thank you for reading my post. Any help will be appreciated.
