I’m Kelsey and I joined here to hopefully help me get my random bunny questions answered. I’m a freshman in college and I had planned on majoring in Business Management however this all changed as soon as adopted my first bunny, Lydia.  Lydia had gotten sick and had to go to the vet.  It turns out she had some bladder sand and needed antibiotics to prevent an infection.  Luckily for me her condition is only getting better.  After this vet visit though I decided that I wanted to devote my life to helping little buns and other animals just like her.  So my new major is pre-med to continue my schooling in Corvallis, Oregon to become a vet.

After having Lydia for about five months I decided that she needed a mate and today I went and rescued Phil-lop.  He is about the same age as Lydia ( 1 year ) and is currently being bonded to her.  They are still in seperate cages as of now but hopefully the will grow to love eachother.

Lydia:  Lydia was rescued from the Heart of the Valley shelter in town.  She was extremely overweight but we now have that down to a healthy level.  Shes spoiled and used to getting whatever she wants.

Phil-lop: Phil was rescued from the same place as Lydia. So far I can tell that he is really calm and shy.  He likes to lay around and stretch out no matter where he is.  He is anxious to become Lydia’s friend.

Lydia is hard to put down! But Phil is a little shy to holding so far. He gets ansy. Lydia is a very cute bun. Shes a little chunky :p but i’m workin on it. She’s the softest thing i’ve ever felt as well! Like velvet!

Phil-lop is adorable because he’s so laid back and has his funny little ears. They’re in the process of becoming friends so far so good!
