  which is better for buns? the water bottle that reduces spills or a clay dish of water?

  I use a water bottle because i read in a book sometimes bunnies like to flip the water dish and see you fill it up again and again.

  i have a heavy ceramic dog/cat dish which can’t be flipped over and is never splashed around. animals can drink ALOT more out of an open crock. water bottles have such a TINY little opening that lets barely any water out.

  I use both, but a heavy crock should not easily tip over, so you may look into getting a sturdy heavy ceramic crock. My understanding is that rabbits are able to get more water out of a crock, but I always have both just in case they dump stuff into the crock and it gets dirty when I’m not looking.

  yea, it is a heavy ceramic one. looks liek the ones jack and rucy have but mine is purple. ^ ^ i do use both (now) because i have this log and they push it up to the bottle and sorta emptys it so i put the dish under it so the log cant get pushed to it. and there is usually water in the dish so they have their choice. my bottle has a big nossle so they seem to prefer the bottle more.
