I am getting a bunny tommorow, and I have one question. How big do Netherland Dwarf bunnies get?

        Thank You!

Hiya lil pinkie. I have a polish rabbit which is often confused with a netherland dwarf they are both very similar breeds. My bunny Boo is 1.4lbs (0.6kgs) and she is fully grown. Netherland dwarfs generally do not grow any larger than 0.9kgs but i cant be certain. If you are worried that your bunny will grow too big then you should n’t because netherland dwarfs are tiny and uber cute. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I don’t want a huge bunny. Thanks again!

My bunny Sable is a Netherland dwarf.  He weighs in at about 1.2kg or a little over 2.5lbs.  He is almost 7 months old so I think this is a big as he is going to get.  I think I’ve read that they can be up to about 4.5lbs on the high end.

Come back and tell us all about your new bunny!

I love your name by the way, Lil Pinkie! Congrats on getting a new love (bunny)! I have a regular dwarf, I don’t think he’s a Netherland, but he weighs in at about 2.8 lbs. As far as the Netherland Dwarfs I’ve met, most of them were under 3 lbs, save for this one obese bunny boy but that had more to do with his diet than his genetics or breed. Hope that helps!

                    Hi Lil Pinkie!
My first bunny was a dwarf, and we got her from a petstore. However she got to be about 4-4.5 lbs.
So I believe she was a mix of a dwarf and something else.
We adopted a true dwarf for her friend, and he was only about 3 lbs.
Now, we only own BBBs, or big beautiful buns…
Our smallest is probably 5-5.5 lbs, and we have one that is about 8 lbs!

Thanks everyone! I got a not yet named, black and white speckled Mini Rex bunny. I don’t know how big they get, but I holding him right now and he’s pretty small. I think he’s still about 2-3 months. He is soooooooooo sweet!
