  Its that time of year again where gnats are taking over the apartment complex. They arnt bothering the bunnies at all, aside from inhabiting their litter box. Im now cleaning their litter twice a day, but that doesnt seem to be helping at all. The gnats dont care about vinegar, either. They keep coming back to the poop corner of the litter box no matter how I clean it. I know bleach isnt safe (worked well killing them off of our windows, though!), so what else can I use?

  You could put one of the gnat traps (https://www.amazon.com/BEAPCO-6-Pack-Drop-Ins-Fruit-Traps/dp/B00CRYOPMQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1500930208&sr=8-5&keywords=gnat+trap) above your rabbit’s things (out of your rabbit’s reach, so make a wall or barrier, or elevation difference), and thus if gnats are attracted to your rabbit’s stuff, they’ll be nearby another attractive item and get caught. I personally used the above trap for drain flies in a past apartment and it was marvelous, as well as gross.

  Go to your plant nursery and pick up some ivermectin pills – they’re made to be implanted in the dirt and help plants fight off wooly afids, etc.
  
  Dissolve a pill in a spray bottle with some water, and lightly mist the litterbox (one spray, maybe two). No more gnats.
