I’m so grossed out. I saw a mouse peek out from under my closet door today in my bedroom.  Zeus’s cage is in my bedroom, and on the floor.

I bought some mousetraps and set them up in the closet, and I’m keeping the door closed to make sure Zeus can’t get to the traps.  I also vaccuumed like crazy so there’s no random bits of bunny food lieing around, and I made sure all of his food/treats/hay is sealed and in rubbermaid containers.

I’m so worried they’re coming out when I’m not here or sleeping and getting in Zeus’s cage!  There’s hay and occasionally a few leftover pellets and greens in there that may attract them.  Does anyone else have mice or seen a mouse in their house?  Do you worry about your bunny/bunnies?

I used to live in an apartment, on the top floor, in the city.  Now I live in the country in a house.  I knew there was a chance they’d show up.  I was hoping not though!

I HATE MICE!  EW EW EW EW EWWWWW!

Oh, and the traps I got are just the ones that snap and kill the mice… I don’t want to use the poison ones, or the glue/sticky ones. I think both are pretty inhumane, even if I really really hate mice.

You should ask Bullrider if Blue can come and visit for a few days.

Did you catch any mice yet?

Yes, 3 so far.  I want to catch every single one, and make sure they don’t come back!

check around for mouse holes, you’ll be wanting to find out how they are getting in and blocking them off. Don’t just block the holes from the inside, or they will just chew new ones around the blockage.
