I’m so sorry about Marshy. It’s always a shock when you have no warning, but bunnies can go just that fast sometimes. They have very delicate systems, and are good at hiding their illnesses, though it sounds like he wasn’t acting that way either. He may have had a genetic disorder that just surfaced.

He is crossing the Rainbow Bridge now and playing with the other bunnies.

Thank you all for your kind word I know the pain of his loss will lessen with time but it helps to have a kind world from people that understand .Speaking of ,my sweet husband just came home with a bun, sigh. He wanted to make it all better sweet man .I didnt want another bun so soon but the fact that he tryed to make the hurt go away for me and the kids is increadably sweet plus he told me he couldnt stand the thought of not having a bun running around the house .So for the past 3 hours i have been completly cleaning with vinager/water  and rebuiding the rabbit pad so new bun can call it home. He seems friendly and happy not to be in that feed store tiny cage but it will take a few days for him to ajust to us I cant help but feel guilty that we replaced marshy but this bun needs love too .Thank you again for the sweet words and reminding me that Marshy is happy over that rainbow bridge having all the bananas he can eat .(((((hugs back ))))

You have no need to feel guilty at all Marshmallow will be proud of you for giving a home to a bun in need. And it was so kind and thoughful of your husband. perhaps this is the best way for him to deal with it aswell? You gave marshmallow the best home he could have ever wanted and now you are opening you heart to another humble bun. good luck and lots of love to you, your family and your new furbaby.

So sorry for the loss of your bunny. We lost our first too, and as hard as it was to decide to get another one….we wouldn’t be happy without a bunny hopping around. Best wishes to you, your family and the new bunny!
