  I have been trying to bond my four rabbits, I have had the older two Mr. Hopper for almost 5 years and the male that bonded with him Nibblette who is 4 years old with Blue my Flemish Giant who is 6 months and Baby my Minni Lop who is 5 months. Well Blue and Baby are inseperable and Mr. Hopper and Nibblette are the same. but I can not seem to get them to inter mingle. they pairs have seperate living areas and any time the get near they try to nip through the seperation barrier. any clues???

  It would be vastly easier to keep them as separate pairs.
  
  If you want them to bond as a quartet, I think you’ll need to separate the pairs and have individual bonding time between each set of buns. This separate and introduction to new bunnies could cause the original bonds to break and you could temporarily end up with four separate bunnies.

  I think it would be better to try and bond them when the babies are older. Also, if they are not spayed/neutered, that could play a part as well. 6 months is when rabbits become hormonal, and the other bunnies are probably sensing that.
  
  If you ever get to a point where they can interact (under supervision, of course), then they can become acclimated to tolerate each other. They probably won’t become good friends, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be civil, lol.
