OUR FORUM IS UP BUT WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF UPDATING AND FIXING THINGS.  SOME THINGS WILL LOOK WEIRD AND/OR NOT BE CORRECT. YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED.  We are not fully ready to answer questions in a timely manner as we are not officially open, but we will do our best.

You may have received a 2-factor authentication (2FA) email from us on 4/21/2020. That was from us, but was premature as the login was not working at that time.

Experience has taught us that a harsh tone, in replies or counter-replies, is ineffective in the long run. Therefore, we expect a respectful, understanding, or empathetic tone in responses. You do not have to agree, but do remain respectful or leave the conversation until you can. If you suspect a troll — report — don’t engage.
It has been mentioned that an abrasive, forceful method of advice may be best in some cases, but we disagree and have found through the years that it is counter-productive. We have members who just leave and the bunny was not helped. So, we will discourage, or at times delete, all posts and responses that are disrespectful to the OP (original poster), respondents, or to any Forum Leaders.

We have education foremost in our minds. We want the best possible experience for your bunnies, but we also want the best possible experience here for you. Our belief is that if we foster a kind, advisory, accepting and understanding culture, you will learn at your own speed and take what information you find the most helpful to enhance your life with your pet. Though some respond to harsh words, most do not, and they leave as a result. That ultimately does not improve anyone’s situation. If you find a blunt or harsh approach works, there are numerous websites out there who foster that climate. We do not.

The Forum Leaders are volunteers from around the world, who are scheduled a few hours across a week, and work in several different time zones. They take great care and spend many hours reading your posts, reading your Alerts, reviewing your issues with each other, and they come to thoughtful decisions on how to respond. Sometimes they reply to your posts right away, and sometimes it takes careful review involving everyone. Nothing is arbitrary or ignored unless that is a well-reasoned decision
We work to provide you with the best information and options possible. First and foremost, we like to let other members reply to your questions with their own knowledge and advice before we add to their responses, as we have found that we have knowledgeable members. Many new bunny owners, and experienced members can be of enormous help –But not by insulting or disrespecting someone who has no knowledge of the myriad ways to care for and love a bunny.

If you have a beneficial bit of advice to offer, please do so with respect and kindness. If the OP doesn’t take your advice, be patient and refrain from arguing. The knowledge you imparted may help a lurking member who does find it helpful. What NO ONE finds helpful is an insulting, abrasive, hurtful manner of addressing either the OP or the person who took the time to write out a reply. And that will not be tolerated on this forum. Others, possibly. But not here. Repeated and flagrant disregard for the rules and the forum culture may result in account suspension, deletion and/or banning

Thank you for allowing us to explain what these special Forum Leaders do on your behalf. No one loves bunnies, and bunny owners, as much as we do.

        Helloworld!!
