Hey i am also a person that has just received a bunny and my little guy Shadow doesn’t know his name either….but he has a marking problem as he isn’t nuetered yet…so if he goes the whole day without marking then at night time i reward him with a treat…maybe save the treats for later on…i just tend to give him carrots or cucumber for a “treat”. Just something to think about

some rabbits learn their names quickly, and other seem to never really get it.  rabbits generally can’t be trained the way a dog can – but many of us use treats to get our bunnies to come over or go back into their houses.

i’m not familiar with the sticks you mentioned, and they just regular flavored chewing sticks or an actual treat food? if it’s just sticks – then you can give it to your bunny at any time to nibble on.  Bunnies enjoy toys and things to chew on.  Actual treats should be offered in very small quantities – since too many treats can lead to an illness called gi stasis.   i tend to give my bunnies a few raisins, dried cranberries OR  oxbow brand papaya tablets (or one of their other treats since they’re healthier than most pet store treats) a day.
