Poor little Clover went to the vet a few weeks ago basically because her poo was not looking normal.  They did X-rays and said she had a mass in her stomach.  Two days later she had surgery to remove her uterous and ovaries.  She was out of it for the first day, but gradually came around and is now just fine.  She ended up a three inch incision on her belly, but she left it alone and it has healed quite well.  We occasionally refer to her a "Scar Belly" now.  Here is a picture of her (brown bunny) and Toby--hopefully.

Ohmygosh Clover is gorgeous! Was she by any chance adopted from Northern California? She looks *EXACTLY* like a girl version of my little dwarf boy, Seamus. Exactly! I know many rabbits can have similar phenotypes but if I didn't know any better, I'd swear they were siblings!

Aww so upsetting to hear about the mass in her tummy. Is it all cleared up now? And her spay surgery went smoothly? Poor baby! At least it's healing and hopefully she is feeling much better. And Tobey is quite the cutie as well! I love his unusual coloring and expressive face. He has a great "disapproving rabbit" look! =)

I forgot to mention the mass turned out to be cancer. The vet feels confident that the surgery got it all, but obviously we are keeping a close eye on her. Thanks for the nice words about my babies. We got Clover in Utah and she currently calls Alaska home. Toby is a new addition and is a few months old. He was much blacker when we first got him. Gradually he started getting the grey mixed in. All four feet are still black as coal though. : )

Poor Clover!  I sure hope the surgery got everything, she's so adorable.  I'm glad to hear she's feeling better, may all of her troubles be in the past!
