I accidentally hurt Skipper while putting her ear drops in today.    She had flinched away from me which caused me to skin the inside of her ear with the medicine bottle.  There’s a red raw spot where it dug in and it is sensitive to the touch.  Thankfully it is not bleeding.  Is there anything that I can put on ear to help heal it?  I feel awful for hurting Skipper.

Non pain relief neosporin is ok to put on it! It might help! Hope it gets better soon!

Thanks I wasn’t sure if it was safe because it’s on the inside of her ear.

I would only bother putting this on maybe once, but it may make her notice the ear and scratch at it. So if it’s clean I would leave it be and just keep an eye on it

Aww…poor Skipper. I’ve injured Bindi’s ear by accident while cleaning before. Makes you feel awful but I’m sure Skipper forgives you. At least she will if you give her a yummy treat!

Thanks guys. =] I’ll keep an eye on it and put some on if I think it looks funky. I just hope putting her ear drops won’t irritate the wound. At least it’s baytril so it’ll clean it out if it hits the wound. But I feel so bad because it has got to hurt.
