Bio:
I'm a clinical supervisor by day and doctoral candidate by night.... I used to teach in a therapeutic day program. Our pet therapy program consists of 4 turtles, 1 miniature hamster, and 4 bunnies. Unfortunately when I changed jobs in August, the new school our program moved to refused to let us keep our pet therapy program. I took Jessica & Leo. Trigger went to 2 of the students' home. They are brothers and are on my caseload at my current job. I'm pleased to report that Trigger is doing great! Their mom isn't too pleased, but she reports that she is supportive of this relationship (boys & their bunny) and is happy that the boys are totally caring for Trigger. I occasionally provide pet supplies for them. Oreo went to live w/ another staff member. The bunnies are: Trigger (mini-rex M), Jessica (Netherland Dwarf F), Oreo the Cookie (English Spotted F), and Leo (Lionhead M). My home consists of 4 cats (Max, Katie, Phoebe, Wolfgang), 2 leopard gecko (Strawberry Shortcake & Starbuck), and a fish. I HATE nature shows/movies b/c they always show prey getting killed. If I was the videographer, I'd be forced to warn the prey and help them escape!
