I have always loved animals and was in a petshop browsing one day and decided to buy a bunny...I figured what most people do-That they are cute and cuddly and easy to care for...Kokanee showed me how very wrong I was!! Within days I knew I needed to do some serious research on rabbit care. She litter trained herself as she knew that her new slave would not really know how to teach her- Luckily she was very patient with me! I adopted her sister Kahlua a year later (an entire year of begging my significant other for 'just one more bunny'). It was love at first sight (thankfully!) and they bonded instantly! I recently adopted Rupert from a shelter. He was a stray in his "previous" life and unfortunately during that time he broke his leg and it healed incorrectly, so he has one special foot. Kokanee crossed rainbow bridge May 17 2008 and I'll always miss her. She was my special little girl. We always said Kokanee was my rabbit, Kahlua was Kokanee's rabbit and Rupert was Dave's rabbit. We then adopted Chuck from VRRA in Vancouver. He has a sad past, and is blind and deaf. But despite all that he's a big cuddly sweetheart and has excellent litter habits. Kahlua and Rupert immediately took to him and they all live together free range now.
