So I went on a small shopping spree to spoil my two babies. I gave Speckles and Chom both some hay carrots, which neither showed interest in, and a small dangling bell chew. But nope. No interest.

So I’m trying out a few different toys for them.

I got them both a treat dispensing ball. Looks neat enough at least. Chom has in the past shown interest in things that rattled and he could throw around, so hopefully he likes this. I dunno if Speckles will like it, but it is worth a shot for only about $5.

I also bought them a logic toy, wondering if either of them would be interested in it.

        http://www.amazon.com/Trixie-Snack-Board-Rabbits-Guinea/dp/B0054VEWB8

From the binkybunny store I bought some snacks for the snack board, to tempt them into actually using it. Specifically these….

        Simple Rewards Cranberry-Rosemary MEDLEY (Oxbow)
        Simple Rewards Papaya Medley (Oxbow)
        Simple Rewards Lavender-Chamomile Medley (Oxbow)

Also bought a willow chew ring, and the willow chew candy cane from the binkybunny store. I also have a surplus of saved toilet paper rolls I’m gonna make some homemade toys out of, and some books that we no longer want, which shall become neato hand made toys. I’ll be making a few video tutorials when I finish the toys, to share with other bunny parents who wanna hand make some toys!

who else spoils their bunnies? What are their favorite toys/boredom busters?

          You have some lucky buns!!

My two are older so they are not big on toys but they love treats from the BB store. Their faves are willow leaves, hay topper (it’s got flowers and stuff in it, can’t remember the specific name) and any and all Oxbow and Smaks Cookie-type treats. They turn into complete cookie monsters.

Yeah I spoil them. I just can’t resist it.

Oooooh yums. And lol I know all about the cookie monsters. Before I learned the yogurt drops were bad, Chom became a monster himself. Every time he heard a bag rustle he came flying.

Chom is absolutely huge and stunning.. Can you tell me what breed he is again (I did read it somewhere on the forums) and how old he is. With toys you cant beat the old empty toilet rolls. I have a flemish giant he’s 4 months old and loves toilet rolls and cat toys.

Chom is a sandy Flemish Giant, almost 3 years old.

Hope my boy gets as big as Chom.. He is beautiful.. I’m a first time Flemish owner.. Had bunnies before, but my Flemish is so placid, completely different nature from my other buns. Will check back later when Billy gets bigger to see what kind of toys your Chom liked most.

Chom likes nothing really. He likes snuggling with me and Speckles, getting pet, and just laying there and being lazy. All toys are ignored, except the willow candy cane from the store. That he liked.

And he should get around that size, maybe a bit bigger, or a teeny bit smaller. What color is Billy?

And yes I stand by if I ever get another rabbit it WILL be another giant breed, most likely a Flemish. They are so laid back, and hard to startle. And so insanely like dogs really.

Billy is a light grey, but his fur is getting lighter now, lots of white on his body with dark feet and face. You are dead right about being layed back and like a dog. Billy follows you around the yard like a puppy, you go out and call his name he comes running, if your doing something he’ll come up and stick his nose in. He loves to just flop down in the shade for a rest. Billy is 4 months old.

I’ve never seena Flemish with that kind of coloring before. He is handsome though. Oh so handsome. I just wanna rub those ears!

Chom follows you when he hears a treat bag, or smells bananers. He licks us if we pet him at all.

Tych doesn’t seem very interesting in the cat/bunny/puppy toys I’ve showered him with. He does, however, absolutely love paper bags. One more excuse to get burritos!
