Intro to my bunny first: She is my very first bunny I love her so much! I have her for 1 year now, and she is spayed, during play time she always used to leave a few poops here and there. She loves to play in the empty sink too, she likes to run around in it ect,

New Problem Now: She still also loves to play in the empty sink run around in it ect she still poops during her play time here and there but now she is peeing  in the sink ! why did she start to pee in the sink? I am a little lost here, is she scent marking, even though she is spayed, I believe they can still do this behavior, but why would she start doing this now after all this time, all of a sudden? After 1 year of playing in the empty sink?

Thank you I look forward to getting some clarity on this topic  She really is a wonderful bun!

Sometimes rabbits go through little hormonal phases for a week or two where they might mark or otherwise act hormonally. Its nothing to worry about If she takes a habit of this, it might be that she is a little confused on her litter habits or need more litter boxes

Usually, bunnies scent mark with glands under their chins, or at least that’s what I heard. Just a suggestion, but I don’t think you should let her play in the sink. That doesn’t sound very sanitary for you. Especially with the urinating in there! Ewwww! If you wash your dishes in there, and germs can never be fully washed off, then you have a decent chance of getting bunny urine germs on your dishes and eventually your food. And bunnies generally have a lot of germs on them already… all things do, so that really seems extraordinarily unsanitary. However, if your fine with all that, then just keep on doing it. The things us bunny owners will do to keep our buns happy! :b
