Ever since we got him, my bunny, Chewie grunts while he runs, usually toward another person. Is this normal? Thanks

p.s We have had him for about 3 months.

Mine both circle and grunt, or run and grunt when I’m doing their food. Or as I’m bonding them, Monte grunts constantly just before he humps Binky, might be both neutered but they all get urges! Might mean he lovesss you/that person, or he really really loves that person…

My bunny, Jackson, does the same thing! I think its normal since after I had first gotten him and taken him to the vet and they said he was completely healthy. I never knew rabbits could be so vocal until I know have a bun myself. He runs in circles and will run around my legs when im walking around my dorm room and constantly grunt and run, grunt and run.

I don’t think you should be worried about it!

It’s probably normal for your bun. I wouldn’t worry. Some bunnies never make a sound while others are quite vocal.

My female only starting grunting when she was a teenager and it turned into territorial aggression….. since being spayed and bonded she has become a soppy gentle giant !

He seems to do it especially when I am getting him cilantro, so he is probably excited and happy. Thanks for all the replies.
