I have had Koko for about 3 months now. As soon as we brought her home we decided to let her be a free roaming bunny. That worked for about a month until we realized she had been chewing up the carpet in several places. So, we purchased a baby play yard and put her and her cage inside of it. Since we started keeping her locked up she doesn’t seem happy anymore! I still let her out supervised once a day. But she loved having the whole house to play in. How can I teach her not to chew carpet and furniture? Since keeping her in the play yard, when I let her out now she circles my cat and runs up under her! They have always gotten along but my cat hates it! What is causing this behavior?

Is she spayed? Intact bunnies have crazy hormones that not only makes them more destructive they can become frustrated (due to inability to mate), hence the circling your cat.
If she isn’t spayed, I would get that done-it might fix some of the destructo-bun issues. If not, placing ceramic tiles on the problem areas of the carpet or spraying wood or plastig furniture with vinegar can deter chewing.
