So my little one is currently shedding and I want to get her a nice soft bristle brush to help her shedding. I only have plastic bristle brushes which are even uncomfortable for me. And I feel like I might hurt or scratch her if I use a fine tooth comb.

Are there any infant or soft brushes you guys recommend? Also anything else I can do to help with the shedding process?

Have you tried the Hairbuster comb from BB?

I use a soft bristle brush on my bunnies. My brush is very old, is from Hartz, and probably no longer sold, but there are other soft bristle brushes. I just ordered this one and took it to the Rabbit Sanctuary where I volunteer – http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=26548. It’s made for cats, but it was also listed on a rabbit supply site, Leith Petwerks. The other grooming brush that I bought for the Sanctuary and for myself was the Kong Zoom Groom for Dogs – http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3292. There is also a cat version, but I liked the face on the dog one. That grooming tool is also listed on Leith Petwerks. So I know that both brushes are safe for rabbits. I even saw some reviews on Dr. Foster and Smith from people who were using them on rabbits. The Zoom Groom is listed as a massaging tool as well as a grooming tool. You brush the animal in a gentle circular motion, or you could just use it in a straight motion. I used it last night for the first time and it did remove fur. There are also those gloves with the little rubber tips that you stroke animals with, but I have never used one so I don’t know how well they work.

I use the purple Kong cat brush (silicone) because it fits in my hand easily during a heavy shed, and is like a massager. My bigger rabbit prefers that one, but not so much my 3lb girl. Mostly, I use my fingers because the hair just comes out easily and is less stressful, overall. Otherwise, I use the Hairbuster.

                I use this: http://www.decor.com.au/product/decor-speed-electrostatic-brush-2/

It’s designed as a brush for removing pet hair from furniture, but in my opinion it’s the best thing ever for brushing a bunny! It’s kinda like the Kong zoom groom brushes, excepted the bristles are finer, softer and there’s more of them. There’s also stiff bristles around the top rim which I find useful for brushing through the really thick patches of fur (just about the tail was always tough). I bought it from either the cleaning or pet section in my local supermarket, I imagine you’d be able to find something similar wherever you are. The best part was it only cost me about $3 or something similar

For short fur I like the Furminator for Small Animals but you need to be cautious as it can cause bald spots if you overgroom.

I second the ZoomGroom, which is the purple Kong brush Love4Bunny mentioned.
I use it on my cats and my rabbits

I ended up ordering an infant goat hair brush on amazon. I want it to be a relaxing experience and I read that someone uses it on her Lop bun (who loves getting brushed by it) in the reviews.

My bunny seemed to like it =)

I actually bought a pack of variety fine tooth combs at the dollar store and they work better than pet store brushes i have. Im very careful not to push it into their skin or scrape them.
