I moved his cage.  I put it b y the a/c making sure it doesn't blow on him.    Well since then he rans and panics.  I go to pet him in his cardboard box.   Out he zips in a big panic. Poor thing.   I was so worried about him.

It took me a whole day and part of the next day to realize it is cause I moved his house.   It made more room for us in the living room.  However if Cotton is that terrified with my new arrangement I figured I would just put things back the way they were and deal with it.

Once I put things back the original way he calmed right down.  Guess I won't be doing that again.   Makes you wonder who wears the pants in the family.

Yep Cotton.

Was it because of the noise the AC makes? It's funny how rabbits get so used to routines.

Sorry to hear how spooked Cotton was. They are particular.

When we moved into our current home (four years ago) we put the bunnies' night cages in the family room area, side by side, just like always. Our first evening, as we were settling down after an exhausting day of moving furniture and 325 boxes (yes, they were numbered - I'm an OCD organzation freak), the buns began thumping and could not be pacified. For two hours we tried to soothe them and figure out what they wanted. Finally husband says "Do you think it's because she's usually on his left?" Yep, that was it, their cages had been plopped down on the wrong side of each other and they simply weren't going to have it. They instantly quieted down when they were put in the proper positions, and they were so grateful they gave us lots of licks and snuggles.

Sure, bunnies wear the pants in their families, but they just look so cute doing it, who can argue?

Thats funny.  Such a minute detail to us is a huge deal to the rabbits.

Yes Cotton even has gray on his rear someone said looks like he has boxer shorts on  so yep I guess he really does wear the pants ahahaaa.

I walked right up and petted him today a totally normal Cotton.

I can relate.  All I did was turn Edson's maze around as he has been doing some construction in his maze and I was worried the floor would cave.  He frantically tried to turn the maze around to the original position.  So weird but very funny. So now he's sleeping in a mess on the second floor that may very well cave soon.  I still don't know why on earth he wants to destroy where he insists on sleeping.
