        Romeo, Romeo, poor poor Romeo.

My good friend (registered as Fluffpuff ) has a white rabbit that just died. She can’t get on right now so she asked me to post a memorial for him.

She just e-mailed me, ” Our beloved bunny is gone, he is with his sister now, wherever bunnies go. We held him right up to the end, he knew he was loved. Oh, I hurt so bad.”

He was always a good bunny and gave Fluffpuff and her family much joy. He had a good life, sad it was so short. :.(

He stopped eating this weekend so, she took him to an emergency vet on Sun. They kept him over night with an IV. On Mon. morning she took him to her vet ( more rabbit savvy ) and they found tooth spurs and a sore on his toung. They filed down the teeth and thought he may be having liver failure. She took him home forcing fluids and Critical Care and giving Metacam twice a day. He seemed stable but went down hill fast today.

Both Romeo and Juliet his sister ( who dyed a couple months ago, I think of cancer ) were three year old unaltered bunnies.

Please, everyone get your rabbits spayed and nudered!

Join with me sending comfort prayers to Fluffpuff and her grieving family.

My condolences to Fluffpuff. It is heartbreaking to lose both bunnies so soon together like that.

I am having my bunny spayed early next month – no doubt about it. Thank you for your urgings and writing on behalf of your friend.

I’m so sorry to hear about this. FluffPuff… you are in my thoughts.

Thank you for your strong plea to spay and neuter. This is very important for house bunnies. I do hope that you will not blame yourself for their passing tho. We all do the best we can with what we have at the time. They were loved and that is what counts in this situation.

              Hugs to you, FluffPuff!

Please pass on my condolences to Fluffpuff. So sad to lose a pair so close but yes, it does sound as if they were given a loving home.
