I looked on the veggie and fruit list and I didn’t see it on any of them.  Any experience with that?

I went online to find it.   Everything but the root is poisonous.    It is also called Mexican potato or Mexican turnip. Also yam bean.

I found it under yam bean  on the house bunny  poisonous group.  Do Not Feed to Bunny.    So you may definitely want to pass on this one.

Thank you so much. I googled it six different ways and nothing came up. The Geek does tell me frequently that I am the WORST googler he has ever met.

I had asked this question awhile ago too. The general consensus here was that it is not for bunnies. I think it’s related to the radish maybe? Either way it’s a no-no.

Yeh I’m thinking probably no good, may not be poisonous but most root veggies aren’t ok (like beets or potatoes) as theyre too starchy

Jicama is too high in the starch category, just like potatoes (impaction/blockage issues) so it is not a good idea to give it to a rabbit and keep it for yourself.

I know that this is not the coveted BB official veggie list, but it is one that my local HRS has and it does list jicama as not safe for the same reasons I listed above:
